I guess the best way to start this is. If you are a woman a Christian or just a believer, you may wonder why God does not believe you should lead a church actually lead man. Your creator has gave you guidelines and you with your free will can either take them or leave them. He provides us with guidelines through stories and consequence. Being a woman and leading, in my opinion, will not send you to hell. God did not say “a woman shall not lead, thus sayeth the Lord”. He merely explained that woman should not lead men because this is not what he created women for they were created for men. 1 Corinthians 11: 3-12 starts out. But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. This is how God has created us. The scripture of our creation also explains why women were created. Genesis 2:18 Then the LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him." A helper suitable for him. God still sometimes called women as leaders. When Josiah needed to hear the word of the Lord, he sent Hilkiah the priest and others to a person who was undoubtedly one of the most prominent prophetic figures of his day: Hulda. 2 Kings 22:12—20. Deborah was not only a prophetess, but a judge Judges 4:4. Now Deborah, a prophet, the wife of Lappidoth, was leading[a] Israel at that time. She held the place of greatest authority in Israel in her day. She is also one of the few judges of whom the Bible reports no failures Judges 4,5 so there were women of leadership in the church during the old covenant. The new covenant teaches that woman should not lead 1Corinthians 11:3-12 But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man. Man did not come from women but women from men. This is the natural leadership order God has planned. Men are supposed to abide by his instructions so everything will go as he planned. If we don’t choose to follow there are consequences. As far as women leading in the church so long as they do not lead over the men, It is ok. Romans 16:1-2 talks about Phoebe and how she is a deacon of the church of Cenchreae and everyone was to help her. There are several versus as a matter of fact in the bible where woman participate in music, prophetesses & teachers. Women are encouraged to participate in worship services just are not usurping authority or behaving in a domineering manner. Proverbs 31 10-31 read this and you will understand what God meant for women. Women were created for men and to provide wisdom and keep man on the straight and narrow. . Both Adam and Eve were created in God's image, equal before God as persons and distinct in their manhood and womanhood Gen 1:26-27 2:18. Thus making women equal in Gods eyes, but to man she is a suitable helper. 1Timothy 2:12-14 But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man. She must remain quiet. For Adam was formed first and then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman, because she was fully deceived, fell into transgression. So God had his reasons and he tells us what we should do and it is up to us. He is not saying women do not have a place just women should not lead, and we should take head to what he is recommending. This is like when your parents tell you, “don’t hang out with that person”. It is not to control you just to point you in the right directions. The same goes for God telling you how to live through the bible. It is because he knows.
